Carlisle began investing in real estate through small, residential investments in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Through a combination of researching ways to scale his investment portfolio and networking with other investors, Carlisle discovered the power of commercial multifamily real estate investing. Carlisle is now tied into a network of commercial multifamily real estate operators and investors that hold over 3,000 units across the United States.

Carlisle is an attorney licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, Juris Doctorate from New York Law School and Mergers & Acquisition Certificate from Columbia Business School. Carlisle is a practicing corporate attorney, and primarily focuses on corporate transactions for privately held corporations and LLCs. In his work as a corporate attorney, he has managed the legal affairs of an international holding company and its 25+ subsidiaries that operate in the US. As Legal Counsel, Carlisle has drafted capital contribution agreements, advised on purchase and sale agreements for forestland acquisitions and dispositions in several sunbelt states in the US, and advised multiple board of directors as to how they can structure subsidiary and special purpose entities. Carlisle currently serves on the Board of Directors for the New York Law School Alumni Association as a Director and serves as an Officer and Corporate Secretary for a private holding company that specializes in the development of shopping centers in the US.

Carlisle currently lives in southern New Jersey with his wife Lainey, and two sons Benjamin and Jonathan.
